Gorgeous vintage workshop drawers or desktop stationery cabinet.

I believe this to be c1920. Hardwood construction (mahogany?), with dovetail joints throughout, including the drawers. The base of the chest has protruding dovetail joints. I am not sure if there is a panel missing, or if this sat on top of another bank of drawers.

The outer cabinet is very rustic, with lots of age to the wood. There are a few visible glue marks, I’ve tried to photograph them (see last image). This unit is so structurally sound though, that I can stand on it!

The interior has three drawers of differing sizes, each with a brass coloured knob and a lacquered finish.

Along side the drawers are three open compartments. The bottom of the unit has one full width drawer with two knobs.
