Vintage hairy Gonk thermometer in original box.

Two little wooden figures stand inside a wooden shield shaped frame. In between the figures is a thermometer. I’m not sure how accurate it is. 
Made in Japan. 

In good vintage condition. No signs of damage or repairs but the box is a little tatty.
