Vintage engineer’s wooden toolbox with metal drawers.

Handmade tool cabinet in the shape of a suitcase. The exterior is wood that has been painted a dark brown colour. There is a full width wooden handle that folds flat and feels lovely in hand!

The front of the case has a metal plaque forming the initials DJG. There is also a sticker to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of a Gauge Guild organisation.

The front of the case is hinged and opens flat to reveal six blue storage drawers made of metal. The bottom drawer appears to be a replacement drawer as this one is made of wood. It has been painted blue to match the other drawers and has a simple wooden handle.
All the drawers are single section storage, except for the top drawer which has dividers to give three compartments.

In well-used vintage condition. Still holds the authentic smell of an engineers workshop. There is something quite beautiful about the combination of colours, wood and metal.
