Tested - the radio and cassette player both work well and the dial lights up. 
The cassette mechanism relies on a single dual-action button located directly next to the cassette slot entry. 
Once the cassette is in place, the button pops out. To fast forward, hold the button halfway down until it catches slightly. This speeds the tape forward to skip songs.
To stop and eject the cassette, push the button all the way in firmly. This will stop playback and physically pop the tape back out of the side slot so you can remove or flip it.
