Vintage rustic pine miniature chest of drawers. Rustic wooden chest.

This has been painted many colours over its lifetime - green, brown has red! It’s been stripped back to its natural pine wood, with small traces of the old paintwork remaining in places. Especially in the deep grooves of the wood on the drawer fronts, and the grain of the wood on the back panel. The side profiles have a nice shape, with semicircles of wood chopped out of the bottom to create cute little feet. The drawer pulls are very decorative, with flowers and foliage patterns on the backplate and handle. 

Inside the drawers have been painted bright red in a glossy paint. Not my colour choice, but it really works! The drawers have been constructed with dovetail joints, the remainder of the chest looks to have been constructed with nails. 

Still a very sturdy little item with bags of character.
