Vintage midcentury small appreciate piece chest of 6 drawers.

I love these miniature drawers, I’ve not seen any like this before. The feet are circular and the drawer fronts have a curve to them. The knobs are really cute - small round buttons of wood! The wood itself is a pale yellow colour with a nice shine.
The top has the signs of someone writing on it. I think this could be gently sanded out. 

One corner of the top has a split in the joint - please see photos.
