Vintage Japanese salt and pepper shakers. Hens chicken shaped.

Miniature hens, with a chocolate brown glaze and white detailing on the wings. The birds look to be sat in a weaver basket. Their faces have red and yellow faces and gold beaks. The paint has worn away in small areas around the faces. Please see photos. 

The hens have a hand written ‘S’ and ‘P’ on the tops. The salt and pepper cone out of holes near the initials.

With original stoppers. Two stickers to the bottom. MG JAPAN and MADE IN JAPAN.
