Victorian Hobbs and Co. Metal cash box with key and lift out tray.

Heavy metal box, painted black with gold. Lots of wear! The corners of the lid have brackets and rivers - painted gold.

The lid is hinged with a flat square carry handle, lock and key. The lock has the makers name Hobbs and Co. Patents.

Inside the box lid is a document section with a large semi-circle cutout for ease of access.

The base holds a lift-out tray, with extra space beneath for super-valuable items! The tray is divided in to three compartments. The two outer sections have hinged lids with triangular shaped handles. The centre section has a larger rectangle handle for lifting out the tray and a slide-off lid.

Fabulous, old cash tin!
