Vintage Sicilian souvenir, heart shaped shadow box diorama with horse and cart.
Super unusual vintage souvenir from Sicily. A deep piece of wood, painted white on the front has been carved into the shape of a heart with flowers and leaf pattern to the front. 
The circular cutout in the centre holds a real glass panel, shielding a tiny old-town rustic scene with a photograph of old buildings, a tiny horse and cart and dried flowers.
The scene is framed with faded red and green rope, with contrasting red and white (faded) rope for wall hanging.
