Lovely vintage c1940/50s miniature wooden two drawer chest, with curved profiles and dovetail joints. Possible cigarette box. 

The two drawer fronts have rounded edges, and the chest sits on a slightly wider flat base. 

The dovetail Joints are very small - 3mm in depth, and the edge of the wood in the joints looks darker, giving a striking contrast. 

The wood is a rich honey brown, straight grain and lightly lacquered. There aren’t any handles and I don’t know if there ever were. In the place of handles are two small inlayed sections. 

There are light scuffs to almost ever edge but nothing structural.
