Vintage 1950s style friction car. Blue and white with wobbly driver.

Maker unknown. Lovely turquoise colour 1950s style car, with a cream bonnet and roof. The front two wheels have litho printed spokes on metal hub caps. The windscreen is framed by a chunky chrome edge, there is no glass left anywhere on the car.

The bumpers and radiator grill or chrome. The registration plate on the back of the car reads S.T-1.

The interior of the car has a printed check pattern on the seats, offset with blue and red go-faster stripes. The dashboard is fully printed with all the dials and knobs you’d expect in a car.

Inside there is a silver plastic steering wheel and a half-bodied male driver. He has no legs, his body comes out of the seat and wobbles when the car moves. Push the car and it will propel itself forward by friction.

There are no headlights or windows on the car. There is a large section of the enamel paint missing off the Bonnet. General wear and tear for the rest of the car, light scratches minor dents. Colour turquoise still bright and there are only very small areas of rusting.
