Small vintage Smokers cabinet. Pipe rack, small drawer and arch glass panel. Dating from around 1910 this dainty oak pipe cabinet is very primitive and pretty. There is a small shelf area to the top with nice shaped profiles. The door on the front has an arched window pain and is fitted with glass. There are two circular don’t pegs in each top corner of the door for decoration. There is a keyhole, but no locking mechanism. The door in the drawer both have simple bakelite handles. The drawer front has two strips of beading with a geometric patterns. Inside the cabinet is a single rack on the left hand side to hang three pipes. The shelf area below has a strip of beading to separate the pipes and a tobacco jar that would’ve once sat there. In lovely vintage condition throughout. Sadly, the only damage is to the back panel corner edge, where it meets the left side panel. There is a split that runs from the top to the bottom of the cabinet. This is old damage and doesn’t show signs of getting any worse. However, it is quite a wide gap, please bear this in mind before purchasing.
