Victorian oak smokers pipe cabinet with glazed door, lock and drawers. 1880

Very pretty small smokers cabinet. Made from oak veneer, with a glazed door. The header panel has two holes drilled for hanging but there are feet too for flat-surface standing.

To the top has a deep shelf area, with cutout brass work across the front and nicely shaped side profiles. To the back are two large holes for wall hanging, if preferred. There is a decorative lock plate to the front but sadly no key.

On the back panel (inside) is a nicely shaped shelf with four holes to hang pipes.

On the outside side panels are folding shelves with three holes for a further 6 pipes.

There are white marks in the joints, could be old furniture wax. Wear to all the corners. With a little TLC this could be perfect!
