Small vintage lacquered box. Restoration project.

Cute little trinket/stamp box in need of some TLC. The exterior has a brick-red lacquered finish with hand painted floral design with butterflies on the lid. The interior has been painted black.

One of the side panels is missing it’s lacquered veneer (please see photos), and the tiny lock no longer functions. 

Would make an ideal restoration project. Despite it’s problems, this is still a lovely little box with lots more life left in it!
