Beautiful 1927 oak smokers tobacco pipe cabinet with lock, key and two drawers.

Very ornate pipe cabinet. The front has two doors with lock and key. The pelmet and base plinth are decoratively shaped with curved profiles. A brass coloured plaque on the header reads:
PRESENTED TO MR C PICKETT ON HIS RETIREMENT AS A TOKEN OF ESTEME BY THE WORKMEN OF THE DERWENT VALLEY WATER BOARD. June 4th 1927.

Inside the cabinet there are two drawers with ornate brass pulls, shelf space for 6 pipes, and a shaped area for a tobacco jar. The bottom shelf is a full width storage area. 

Standing on a raised base for table top standing, but with two large holes at the top of the back panel for wall hanging. 

In excellent condition, with a strong shine to the oak and no scratches or damage.
